Standalone tool
Cell Spacer Generator
Build a simple printable cylindrical-cell holder without creating an account or opening the complete battery editor. Designs stay in this browser until you reset them.
Ready to make a spacer?
Open the standalone cell spacer generator — no account is required to design and preview a holder.
Quick workflow
- Choose a common cylindrical cell preset or enter a measured custom diameter and height.
- Set the plate dimensions directly or drag the right, bottom, and corner handles in the 2D preview.
- Keep the rectangular plate or switch to Custom, then drag, add, and remove polygon points to shape the outside boundary.
- Choose offset or grid packing, then tune the cell gap, fit clearance, edge wall, and plate thickness.
- Enable the cell stop lip when the plate should keep cells from sliding through the opening.
- Choose STL, STEP, and/or DXF and export with Pro or a $2.99 pack of three export credits.
Fit and retention controls
Hole clearance
Adds a small amount to the measured cell diameter. This controls assembly fit without changing the packing pitch.
Cell gap
Sets the outside-to-outside gap between neighboring cells. BatteryBee keeps at least 0.4 mm of material between generated holes.
Edge wall
Sets the minimum material from a hole edge to the rectangular or custom outside boundary.
Cell stop lip
Adds an annular ledge around every opening. Stop overlap controls how far it reaches inward; stop height controls its protrusion.
Print a fit test first
Cell wraps, manufacturing tolerances, printer calibration, filament shrinkage, and print orientation all affect the final fit. Measure actual cells and validate a small sample before printing a full plate.
Saving and download access
- The editor is free to use and saves the current design in local browser storage.
- The preview can expand to a full-screen editing view and closes again with its Exit button or Escape.
- No account is required to buy three export credits for $2.99.
- One generated ZIP uses one credit and may include STL, STEP, and DXF together.
- Guest credits stay on this device and can be used after changing the spacer design.
- Signed-in users with an active Pro export subscription can export without using credits.
