Export Files: 3D printing, CNC, and busbar fabrication

3D/CNC export (STL / STEP)

  • Select what to export: Case body, Lids, and Spacers.
  • Formats: choose STL and/or STEP. STEP is recommended for CNC toolpaths.
  • Fabrication options: include a breakdown (per‑wall panels, lid plate + ring) and optional DXF outlines.
  • Case/Lids require at least one lid to be configured. Spacer STLs are generated per unique shape with quantity in the filename.
  • Output downloads as batterybee‑case‑export.zip with a README of what’s inside.

Busbar export (DXF / SVG)

  • Pick a format: DXF (CNC) or SVG (vector preview).
  • Exports all enabled busbar layers across all cell layers, front and back, as a zip.
  • If DXF is unavailable on the backend, the exporter falls back to SVG automatically.

Only enabled busbar layers are included. Configure them in the Busbars drawer.

Checklist

  • Verify units are millimeters in your CAM/slicer.
  • Open STEP for CNC machining; STL for 3D printing.
  • Review the README inside the zip for a summary of files and options used.
