Is the cell spacer generator free to use?

Yes. You can design, preview, and save a cell spacer in your browser without an account. Downloading fabrication files requires an export credit or an active Pro subscription.

Which battery cell sizes can I use?

The generator includes presets for 18650, 21700, 26650, and 32700 cylindrical cells. You can also enter a custom cell diameter from 8 to 50 mm and a custom height.

Which file formats can I export?

You can include STL for 3D printing, STEP for further CAD editing, and DXF for a 2D outline in the same export.

Can I make a custom-shaped cell spacer?

Yes. Use a rectangular plate or switch to a custom outline, then drag, add, or remove polygon points around the packed cells.

How much clearance should I add around each cell?
